A lot of artists (myself included) often reach a point, especially early on in their artistic journey, where we see other people's work and question if we even have the potential to be creative. We see the process and we understand the steps it took to get from A to B. It seems easy enough, right? Then we try to do it ourselves, but our brains seem to lock up and our glorious plan for the best painting ever ends in a burning pile of frustration. After having some occasional success in dealing with this, I've learned two important things:

Give yourself more time. It's simple, it's easy, and you can do it right now. There's
